Co-owner/General Counsel/Real Estate Agent
TANISHA HART-LOVE VITAE
Tanisha Hart-Love holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in English with a concentration on writing from The University of Tennessee as well as a law degree (J.D.) from The University of Tennessee College of Law and is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Tanisha is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Tennessee.
After law school, Tanisha clerked for the Honorable Judge Hamilton Gayden in First Circuit Court of Nashville, Davidson County. After her clerkship, Tanisha landed a highly coveted position as in-house corporate legal counsel for Kroll Background America, Inc. (“KBA”), a subsidiary of Kroll, Inc. and Marsh & McLennan Companies (“MMC”), where over the span of nearly a decade, Tanisha’s hard work and unshakable drive helped her rapidly excel up the ranks in the company from an entry level attorney position to Vice President of Legal Affairs and Compliance, where she served as a member of upper management team and oversaw all legal affairs and compliance issues for the company’s North American operations for the background screening and identity theft restoration divisions.
In 2010, Tarrick and Tanisha welcomed the first of their two sons, and at that time, Tanisha made the decision to leave her flourishing legal career in corporate America for a career as in-house legal counsel at HL that would afford her the flexibility to focus on both family and the family business. Like Tarrick, Tanisha’s passion for architecture, design and real estate developed rapidly. In addition to serving as General Counsel for HL, Tanisha is a REALTOR and uses her real estate license to find and procure property for the company and its clients’ developments.
